Pre-requisite for Level 1:

  • Must know the following chords on the ukulele: C, G, Am, F, D, Dm, A, Em 

  • and Basic plucking

Pre-requisite for Level 2:

  • Must have completed the Ukulele Fingerstyle Level 1 Course

Overview of what you will learn at Ukulele Fingerstyle Level 1:

  • Introduction to right hand plucking techniques

  • How to read tablatures instead of musical notes so you can start playing melodies immediately

  • Playing a melody line on the ukulele together with chords

  • Songs you will learn include:
    - Rainbow Connection
    - Amazing Grace
    - Perfect (Ed Sheeran)
    - Can't Help Falling in Love (Elvis Presley)
    - Tears in Heaven (Eric Clapton)

Overview of what you will learn at Ukulele Fingerstyle Level 2:

  • Revision and enhancement of right hand plucking techniques and reading tabs with rhythm 

  • Learn the 16th note rhythm and apply it on the song “Nothing’s gonna change my love for you”

  • Learn the one-way pluck technique and more finger exercises to make your playing smoother!

  • Play popular songs (both melody and rhythm) like:

  • Moon River,

  • Top Of The World,

  • Creep,

  • Eternal Flame

Each Level consists of 8 x 1.5hour weekly lessons = $340
